    AN ANTIQUE DECORUM

The Rome exhibition was inaugurated on June 11th, 2010, in the Mercati di Taiano, a museum which is part of the Imperial Forum, in the heart of the capital. A presitigous setting, overflowing with History, ideal decorum to place the millions of testimonies which constitute our films.

The exhibition setup was done by out usual decoration team : Christophe, Phillipe, Vartan, and Rudy. The scenography was unusual, as it took advantage of the roman remains, of which every little cell, called “tavern”, was transformed in a show-room. The installation was not easy as, as one can imagine, there is nothing practical about a building dating back to Antiquity. It was not possible to get very close to the spaces dedicated to us, and in order to install all our equipment, we had to unload high volumes of decorating and audiovisual material.

    EXHIBITION BEFORE RENOVATION

The exposition manager, Maria Paola, very proud of hosting the project of GoodPlanet and Yann Arthus-Bertrand, put her trust in us and made us feel comfortable throughout the installation period, before the closing of her museum for two years of renovation. Once the installation over, the night before the inauguration, she even offered us a delightful guided visit of the museum and of the building that houses it.

Every inauguration is a pleasure, with the satisfaction of seeing the first visitors walk through the various rooms and sit through our films.
