    DIJON (FRANCE), 4th FORTNIGHT OF DIVERSITY

    For this fourth edition of the Fortnight of Diversityorganized by the Cultural Direction of the City of Dijon and the Solid'Ere association, not less than 10 films of the 7 billion Others project were projected daily from 14 to 25 November 2010 at the Musée de la Vie Bouguignonne, Perrin Puycousin.

    IRAN, MALEK MUSEUM

    In August 2009, the “Making-of” and excerpts from the project were screened, followed by a discussion with Sibylle d’Orgeval, director.


    TAPIEI INTERNATIONAL BOOK EXHIBITION

    7 billion Others was spotlighted in the French pavilion as part of the 18th Taipei International Book Exhibition in 2009. The French pavilion was organized by the Institut français of Taipei.


    COPENHAGEN, COP 15

    The GoodPlanet foundation attended the Cinémathèque in Copenhagen for 10 days in December 2009. A variety of 7 billion Others films were screened and the film “Climate Voices” was specially featured, as it had been released for this event. This film is not covered by copyright and is distributed free to all television networks.


    LYON, FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

    During the 2009 festival, December 6 - 8, short programs from 7 billion Others were projected onto a giant semi-circular screen in Place Ambroise Courtois for 4 hours every evening. In addition, a preview of the film “Climate Voices” was screened on the evening of December 8.


    AMSTERDAM, INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL

    The making-of “7 billion Others, behind the scenes” was selected for the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam. It was presented as part of DOCULAB, November 23 and 24, 2009, attended by directors Sibylle d’Orgeval and Baptiste Rouget-Luchaire.


    NEW YORK, UNITED NATIONS

    A screening of “Climate Voices” was shown in the United Nations in New York on November 5, 2009 for 400 delegates from all over the world.


    BUSAN (SOUTH KOREA), OECD FORUM

    A screening was organized as part of an awareness effort promoting recognition of the national approaches to the notion of Progress, and the universality of needs and feelings among the planet’s inhabitants. A screening of the film "Progress" was held before the plenary sessions during the forum held in Busan in October, 2009, bringing together over 120 representatives from 43 countries including the Secretary-General of the OECD, the president of Slovenia and the Nobel Laureate for Economics.


    APT, FONDATION BLACHÈRE

    From June to August 2009, a number of films were screened at the Fondation Blachère, along with the “Making-of”.
