San Sebastian, San Telmo museum
FROM APRIL 2 TO AUGUST 21, 2011
The visitor enters the exhibition through an entrance where they can listen to 40 questions asked to all the interviewees. The walls of this space are dressed by these questions in all languages: French, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, Finnish...
Then the visitor arrives in a large room - the new temporary exhibition room, like a long corridor, where there are eight thematic areas of projection of different sizes and shapes, white. He follows a path, and in the center he can take time to stop, reflect, discuss, share, on a comfortable place.
He continues his journey in the second part of the museum, a former monastery, and faces a 18m long and 5.5m high mosaic of faces (52 min film, the emblem of the project), before which he will listen the thousands of testimonials.
Continuing, he will find three projection spaces and the making-of which will go behind the scenes of the project. Finally, he finished his visit by the film "Messages", which corresponds to the last question of the interview "We are 7 billion on Earth, do you have a message for these Others?". These messages are sometimes funny, sometimes disturbing, sometimes sad but always touching and moving...
More than 11 films are presented in the exhibition! All are subtitled in Spanish and Basque.
